Supporting The FA’s Play Safe Weekend

Play Safe Weekend 2025 – Wargrave Wolves Stand Together for Safeguarding

Every season, English football unites to support Play Safe, and at Wargrave Wolves, we remain fully committed to promoting this vital campaign — doing everything we can to help make the game as safe as possible for all our young players and volunteers.

Play Safe is a year-round national campaign, run by The FA and supported by the NSPCC, raising awareness about the importance of safeguarding at every level of the game — from grassroots clubs like ours to the elite.

The goal of Play Safe is simple but vital: to ensure football is always safe, fun, and enjoyable for everyone, everywhere, every time.

This season’s Play Safe Weekend takes place on 27/28 September 2025, and The FA is once again encouraging everyone involved in the game to understand their role in safeguarding.

The official FA Play Safe website is packed with resources and practical guidance to help parents, carers, coaches, players, referees, volunteers, and spectators learn how they can contribute to creating a safer environment for all.

So, whether you’re on the pitch, on the sidelines, or supporting from home — take a moment to visit the site, get informed, and play your part in making football a safe space for every young person who takes part.
