Every season, English football comes together to promote Play Safe and like thousands of grassroots clubs around the country, Wargrave Wolves are fully committed to the campaign and its promotion to make the game as safe as we can for all our young players and volunteers.
It’s a year-round campaign, supported by the NSPCC that amplifies the importance of safeguarding across all levels of the game.
Play Safe aims to make sure football is safe, fun, and enjoyable for everyone, everywhere, every time.
This season’s Play Safe Weekend is on 28/29 September and for 2024 The FA is asking for everyone to know their role in safeguarding.
The FA’s Play Safe website is full of fantastic resources and provides information for everyone involved in the game to learn more about how they can help make football a safe space for all.
So whether you are a parent or carer, coach or manager, young player, referee, club volunteer or spectator visit https://www.englandfootball.com/playsafe to find out more and take an active role in making the game fun, enjoyable and safe for all the young people that take part.
