Congratulations to Fred Thomas, from our U15s Grays team for winning the Clubman of the Year award for 2024/25.
The annual award is a celebration for players that have shown a great commitment to the club and support to their teammates. Our winner for this season joins a long list of past players who have all made a great contribution to the club.
Fred has been at the club since he was 5 years old! He is a fantastic member of the squad with a great attitude towards his teammates as well as his own football development. As a younger player he would always step up to play in any position, including in goal when no-one wanted to, and all the way through the age-groups he has always been a popular team player who embodies the true values of the club based on sportsmanship and fairness.
The trophy was presented by Club Chairman Paul Atherfold at the annual end of season awards in front of his teammates, coaches and the Gray’s parents. It is a well deserved reward for his continued support of the team and the club over nearly 10-years.
