We just wanted to say a big thank you to all our players, coaches, referees, volunteers and parents for their support this weekend as the Club and all our teams supported The FA’s Play Safe Weekend.
It’s an incredibly important campaign that highlights the role everyone in youth football has, to ensure all young people, in any role, get to have a positive experience when taking part in the game.
Everyone has a role to play and The FA’s website has excellent resources that highlight the positive role anyone connected with youth football can have – whether you are a player, coaches, club volunteer, referee, parents or spectator.
We all want our children to take part in a game in a positive, and safe environment that allows all young people to enjoy their football, develop as players and people, and to thrive, and the Play Safe campaign does a great job of highlighting everybody’s role to help achieve this.
Thanks and well done again to all our teams this weekend, whether playing home or away, in making sure our young players had the best possible, supportive environment in which to play.
